Observing certain rituals would not ward off negativity in marriages

There is another outrageous ritual that some girls are made to go through (and its not always the uneducated ones who are misled, but a number of well-educated ones as well) to improve compatibility with prospective groom, if the horoscopes don’t match. These rituals include getting married to a tree, a dog or even a frog. How bizarre is that? This they are made to believe would ward off negative influences from the would-be groom to the tree or animal! Be confident and challenge such a suggestion if it were ever to be made. Believe in yourself first more than anything else.
