‘Gnothi Seauton: Know Thyself This ancient Greek aphorism is one of the Delphic Maxims inscribed in the pronaos (forecourt) of the temple of Apollo at Delphi, the site of the sacred Oracle.

The path of yoga is trans formative, and transformation begins with awareness . we have to know ourselves: what are our thoughts ? what are our patterns? what are our intentions and motivations? What causes us to act ? what causes us to react ? What are our triggers and irritants ? If we are not aware of what we are thinking or how we are acting , then there is little chance for us to break the pattern of our thoughts and actions and do things differently.
